[solved] Problem with upgrades

Postby bevito » Thu Jul 20, 2017 5:58 pm

Hi,

I just try to update our docker installation (try to update community server / control panel / document server).

I stopped all containers, delete old containers and images.
I used the latest script enterprise-install.sh and I used

Code: Select all
bash enterprise-install.sh -ims false

Everything seems to be running :

Code: Select all
CONTAINER ID        IMAGE                                                COMMAND                  CREATED             STATUS              PORTS                                                                                                                               NAMES
59f45125209b        onlyoffice4enterprise/communityserver-ee:9.1.0.393   "/app/onlyoffice/r..."   27 minutes ago      Up 10 minutes       0.0.0.0:80->80/tcp, 0.0.0.0:443->443/tcp, 3306/tcp, 5280/tcp, 9865-9866/tcp, 9871/tcp, 9882/tcp, 0.0.0.0:5222->5222/tcp, 9888/tcp   onlyoffice-community-server
49914d6b6162        onlyoffice4enterprise/controlpanel-ee:2.1.0.93       "/usr/bin/dumb-ini..."   28 minutes ago      Up 18 minutes       80/tcp, 443/tcp, 9833-9834/tcp                                                                                                      onlyoffice-control-panel
458eaa484def        onlyoffice4enterprise/documentserver-ee:4.4.1.38     "/bin/sh -c 'bash ..."   28 minutes ago      Up 12 minutes       80/tcp, 443/tcp                                                                                                                     onlyoffice-document-server

When I try to log to OnlyOffice, I have a blank page.
When I try to connect on the server, with elinks command, I have this message :

Code: Select all
elinks 127.0.0.1
Erreur HTTP 402: Payment Required

Strange thing : I upload and activate our licence before updating OnlyOffice.

Have you any ideas how I can solve those issues ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi,

I managed to reinstall the previous versions of Document Server and Community Server.
- I removed all docker's images
- I download the installation bash script
- I edited the vars

Code: Select all
COMMUNITY_VERSION="9.0.0.300";
DOCUMENT_VERSION="4.3.3.4";

Now OnlyOffice works again :

Code: Select all
CONTAINER ID        IMAGE                                                COMMAND                  CREATED             STATUS              PORTS                                                                                                                               NAMES
1b689bc79a45        onlyoffice4enterprise/communityserver-ee:9.0.0.300   "/usr/bin/dumb-ini..."   8 minutes ago       Up 8 minutes        0.0.0.0:80->80/tcp, 0.0.0.0:443->443/tcp, 3306/tcp, 5280/tcp, 9865-9866/tcp, 9871/tcp, 9882/tcp, 0.0.0.0:5222->5222/tcp, 9888/tcp   onlyoffice-community-server
089be46be970        onlyoffice4enterprise/controlpanel-ee:2.1.0.93       "/usr/bin/dumb-ini..."   9 minutes ago       Up 9 minutes        80/tcp, 443/tcp, 9833-9834/tcp                                                                                                      onlyoffice-control-panel
79ed3312a275        onlyoffice4enterprise/documentserver-ee:4.3.3.4      "/bin/sh -c 'bash ..."   9 minutes ago       Up 9 minutes        80/tcp, 443/tcp                                                                                                                     onlyoffice-document-server

When I logged in, as an administrator, the licence was gone so I upload the file again.
In your opinion, can I update Community Server and Document Server with control panel ?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Maxim,

I tried to update Document Server and Community Server with Control Panel.
There was no problem with Document Server, but I had the same problem with Community Server.

When I tried to update Community Server from 9.0.0.300 to 9.1.0.393, the portal restarted and then the portal displayed a blank page.

On the server, if I use elinks, I've got the same error as before :

Code: Select all
Erreur HTTP 402: Payment Required

I reinstalled all the containers using the same method (edit vars to specify the 9.0.0.300 Community version).

Code: Select all
CONTAINER ID        IMAGE                                                COMMAND                  CREATED             STATUS              PORTS                                                                                                                               NAMES
9ceca4ab777e        onlyoffice4enterprise/communityserver-ee:9.0.0.300   "/usr/bin/dumb-ini..."   22 minutes ago      Up 22 minutes       0.0.0.0:80->80/tcp, 0.0.0.0:443->443/tcp, 3306/tcp, 5280/tcp, 9865-9866/tcp, 9871/tcp, 9882/tcp, 0.0.0.0:5222->5222/tcp, 9888/tcp   onlyoffice-community-server
91409e80caaa        onlyoffice4enterprise/controlpanel-ee:2.1.0.93       "/usr/bin/dumb-ini..."   23 minutes ago      Up 23 minutes       80/tcp, 443/tcp, 9833-9834/tcp                                                                                                      onlyoffice-control-panel
4ca4a5428062        onlyoffice4enterprise/documentserver-ee:4.4.1.38     "/bin/sh -c 'bash ..."   24 minutes ago      Up 24 minutes       80/tcp, 443/tcp                                                                                                                     onlyoffice-document-server

OnlyOffice is working, but the licence is gone.
I uploaded the licence file again.

I'm afraid that if I try to update again, I'll run in the same problem.

Is there a way to check that licence file is working properly ?
What can I do ?

Thanks a lot.

Hello bevito!
If you use Onlyoffice Enterprise Edition for Docker and installed it with installation script then folders are mapped into app/onlyoffice. And the license.lic file is on the path /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/data. Udpating process is the same like you would do it mannually: stop containers, delete containers, download new containers and run new containers.
OnlyOffice is working, but the licence is gone.

That is very strange that the licence is gone! I cannot say why it happend.
Is there a way to check that licence file is working properly ?

You can send us your license.lic file to check.

Hi Maxim,

Thanks for your answer.

The licence file is indeed in the /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/data folder.

Code: Select all
ls -l /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/data/license.lic
-rwxrwxrwx 1 Debian-exim netdev 534 juil. 21 19:17 /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/data/license.lic

How can I send you the licence file (is there a special e-mail address) ?

Again : thanks a lot for your help.
