How to decode changes.json file?

Postby zhiw » Tue May 30, 2017 12:20 am

Hi, we have a staff claimed that the change of document he made was not saved properly by onlyoffice, we went to the cached file folder on document server and find his change in one folder, what we have in that folder is as below:

* changes.zip
* changesHistory.json
* output.xlsx

Unfortunately, we can't find the change he has made in output.xlsx.

When I unzip the changes.zip and try to check everyone's change in order to trace what happened during the editing to see whether there is something wrong with software or it's human mistake. It gives me a lot of json files in unzipped folder, but the content of which doesn't make any sense. It's like:
["56;NAAAAAECBgAAISoAAAAACiQAAAAACA4AAABDAGEAbABpAGIAcgBpAAAICgAAAEEAcgBpAGEAbAA=","62;OgAAAAEAFgEEAAAAMQAwAAEAAAAAJgAAAAAAAAAmAAAAABgAAAAAAiYBAgACCAwAAABOAG8AcgBtAGEAbAA=","89;VQAAAAEAEwEEAAAAMQAwAAEAAAAAJgAAAAAAAAAmAAAAADMAAAAAAiYBAgACCQwmAAAAAAgOAAAAQwBhAGwAaQBiAHIAaQABAgECAgoDAAQABQAGAAcACAA=","46;KgAAAAEACwEEAAAAMQAwAAEAAAAAJgAAAAAAAAAmAAAAAAgAAAAAAiYBAgACAA==","190;ugAAAAEADAEEAAAAMQAwAAEAAAAAJgAAAAAAAAAmAAAAAJgAAAAAAiYBAgACCQ+LAAAAAAkQDAAAAAACAAEJIwIAAAABAAEJEAwAAAAAAgABCSMCAAAAAQACCRAMAAAAAAIAAQkjAgAAAAEAAwkQDAAAAAACAAEJIwIAAAABAAQJEAwAAAAAAgABCSMCAAAAAQAFCRAMAAAAAAIAAQkjAgAAAAEABgkQDAAAAAACAAEJIwIAAAABAAcEAAgEAA==","84;UAAAAAEAEwEEAAAAMQAwAAEAAAAAJgAAAAAAAAAmAAAAAC4AAAAAAiYBAgACCQwhAAAAAAgKAAAAQQByAGkAYQBsAAEAAgIKAwAEAAUABgAHAAgA",......]

So my question is, is there any way that we can decode these content so that we can exactly know what has been changed in each change.json file?

Please let me know if my question is not clear, thank you for your help.

Hello zhiw!
There is no way. This file changes.zip keeps blocks of changes in our format, but this file will not show anything about changes.
The file changesHistory.json keeps information who and when started block of changes, like this
Code: Select all
{"created":"2017-05-30 10:42:32","user":{"id":"uid-2","name":"Mark Pottato"}},
{"created":"2017-05-30 10:42:53","user":{"id":"uid-1","name":"Jonn Smith"}},
{"created":"2017-05-30 10:42:59","user":{"id":"uid-2","name":"Mark Pottato"}}
