Set user profile language

Postby dcolaco » Wed Mar 01, 2017 10:37 am

Hi,

i'm currently using document editor inside a webpage and i'm setting the following configuration:
"
editorConfig: {
...........................
user: {
id: editor_userid, //this is a generated id
firstname: "John",
lastname: "Smith",
language: "pt",
lang: "pt"
},
.............................
},
"
I understand the language and spellchecker are set based on the profile language so i'm trying to pass them as parameters in the user section but with no success.
I need a way to configure user profile language before editing the document, can u help?

Thanks in advance

Hello dcolaco!
Here you can find parametr lang which defines the editor interface language.
Please describe what you want using any example. I think i don't get your idea.

Hi Maxim,

Thanks for the reply, the parameter "lang" with value "pt-PT" indeed changes the editor interface language, but not the spellcheck for the document. Its a bit strange to start an editor in "pt-PT" and spellcheker always use default value "en-US".

Is there anyway to pass the language for spellcheck as parameter? The intent is to always use PT so for me would be ok to change de default spellcheck language in documenteditor source.

Help plz

Hello dcolaco!
There is no way to pass the language for spellcheck as parameter.
Every doc has its own language by default, you can change the language to the part of doc or to the whole doc (at the bottom of the document). The language of the document takes from the document itself.
Languages.
