Apache proxy to access docker containers

Postby PeteE » Tue Dec 01, 2015 9:40 pm

I am using docker containers for testing OnlyOffice. OnlyOffice will be run on a shared server, so I need to access OnlyOffice using a specific location, e.g., http://example.com/oofice/.

Setting up a proxy on / to access the docker containers is trivial and works well.
ProxyPreserveHost On
ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:9000/
ProxyPassReverse / http://127.0.0.1:9000/

Using a location block and some ProxyHTMLURLMap settings gets me close but there seems to be a number of ajax calls that are made and therefore not updated by the ProxyHTMLURLMap rules. With other services I have been able to update the base url in the docker container, then could successfully configure the proxy like: ProxyPass /oofice/ http://127.0.0.1:9000/oofice/

Is there a way to change the base URL for OnlyOffice? Has anyone been able to successfully set up a proxy with Apache to a specific location/url?

Hello,

This configuration is the one we didn't test.

I shall leave the topic opened so anyone from the Community could help you.
