HTTPS settings on Windows (onlyoffice 8.1)

Postby AnnyJuly » Tue Apr 07, 2015 11:31 am

Hello! I'm very sorry If this is stupid question and I'm missing something very obvious.
I installed OnlyOffice Community Server (mainly to test it, we never have used it before) on Windows Server 2008. Everything working, but right now I need enable HTTPS.
I searched through forum, but every single guide is about config.js. I have only one config.js file (CKEDITOR.editorConfig) and It doesn't contain any setting about certDir. I could probably create It, but I don't even know where.

You have to transfer ONLYOFFICE in IIS to 443 instead of 8086 and set a path to certificate in IIS

Then
add the strings into the file:
c:\Program Files\Ascensio System SIA\ONLYOFFICE\WebStudio\web.config

Code: Select all
<system.webServer>
<rewrite>
<rules>
<rule name="WCF files HTTPS to HTTP" stopProcessing="true">
<match url="products/files/services/wcfservice/service.svc.*" />
<conditions>
<add input="{HTTPS}" pattern="on" />
<add input="{HTTP_HOST}" pattern="onlyoffice$" />
</conditions>
<action type="Rewrite" url="http://{HTTP_HOST}/{R:0}" appendQueryString="true" />
</rule>
</rules>
</rewrite>
</system.webServer>

I'm testing our new portal, but have faced some problems.
Files upload doesn't work with https. Considering we want to use Onlyoffice specifically for uploading multiple docs, this is fail :(.
I see a lot off instructions on the forum (and in russian section there is a whole thread) with different redirect rules.
What can I do to make file upload (in Documents) work? Is it possible in common server at all?

I resolved the problem with file upload. For some reason links to upload module was "http" and i don't event have 80 port opened on my router (only 443). I specified https addresses in webapp config and now it's working.
However one problem remains: all links in notification mails are http. Users can't even open it and have to manually change link. Can I change notification links to https? Maybe somewhere in email template?
